Note to self: evaluate ‘restic‘ as a substitute for ‘borg‘.

I added a CACHEDIR.TAG file to the following directories on my workstation:

When I ran `borg list`, and other `borg` commands, I got the error: Failed to create/acquire the lock

I found this, which referred me to how to remove the lock (I was quite sure it was not in use).

This great article Backing up data like the adult I supposedly am popped up on Lobste.rs today. I think I’m gonna get myself an rsync.net account.
