FPGA boards

I’m interested in FGPA technology and today via HN: Awesome Lattice FPGA boards.

This turned up on HN today: Tomu, a tiny ARM microprocessor which fits in your USB port.

This evening I read, among a few other things:

So the standard/typical size of the most common DC power plug/socket is 5.5 x 2.1 mm. There are a bunch of other sizes too.

I think this is just so super duper cool:

I call these, variously, 500in1, 300in1, 200in1, 130in1, 60in1, 30in1, and 10in1. Or, collectively, Xin1.

So today via What Does “VCC” Stand For? I learned that VCC stands for “voltage at the common collector”.

So today I learned that “HC” (high speed CMOS) and “LS” (low power Schottky) are two different types of logic family.

Today I read a little about Coupling and Decoupling. Apparently 0.1uF ceramic cap across VCC and Ground pins on a IC will do it.
